StumbleUpon Traffic Beats Google

It’s a very close call, but for the second successive month Stumble Upon is my main traffic resource.
It’s beats Google by only a handful of visitors, but beginning November it was all the way down on my traffic resource list.
Just for the record, Windows Live is third.

Google PageRank And Selling Text Links

Many pageranks were updated last month. In fact, some pageranks were updated no less than three times.
It seems that these are only Toolbars update, but nevertheless it caused quite some disturbance.
Because many sites were ‘punished’ for selling text links. That means, that the updates must have been done manually.

Feedburner: It’s True-gle!

Today, on their blog, Feedburner announced that the take-over by Google is official.
Google announced it on their Official Google Blog.
A great achievement by the Feedburner guys!

For a couple of days the rumor is that Google wants to buy Feedburner.
Some of them date even further back.
According to FeedBurner, they are currently feeding 422,717 publishers who’ve burned 721,074 feeds (as of 21 May 07).

Sitemaps in robot.txt file

If you use Sitemaps to getting your websites noticed, you know it’s always been a hassle to getting these sitemaps submitted and verified with the major search engines. They all used different formats.
