Interesting article. I’m collecting ideas to develop stirtalk.com and am far from a launch date. I don’t intend to sell a product or service. I’m leaning toward developing an interactive discussion space where users talk about what’s on their minds (news, sports, local or international topics).

It could take years before I launch since my target market is broad and advertising could be costly. When I reach the point where a lauch can be considered, it’s likely I will use the resources of an agency since it’s critical to get it right the first time. I’m not confident to do it alone.

This post is really great, a simple launch that bring success or failure to your business. Can I add some tip? You have to know your target audience before doing your introduction to your product. In able to catch your viewers attention your have to give them a souvenirs and the mc should know how to attract people. If you are in product launch good luck. Hope you learn from these steps.

One other problem I have seen is a product where so much is spent on a flashy website and no funds are left for the actual marketing. A good looking website is important but it should not eat up your whole budget.
