    I have been practicing PPC for many years and will support the loophole that you mention. I have heard the Pivot theory mentioned 4 times now and all four people had great things to say about it. Jus tthought I would put my 2 cents in!

    I have heard of this pivet strategy before and have even tried it out. It works fine, even though in competitive markets its hard to move your site up the adwords hierachy on relevance alone. Conversion optimisation is a biggy and can make huge differences to your business, even small increase like 1% can mean double or treble the profitability of your business.

    Yes I checked the video out afterwards, converion is really the key and obviously creating a loyal customer base.

    The increase in relevance will work but only in less competitive niches, I use adwords quite a bit and the top end niches are so well optimised, uping your bid and CTR is the only way to lower costs.

    Enjoyed the video though and am definitely going to check it out.

    I have been doing ppc for about 2-3 months now and god its so hard. I mean it seems very simple but there are a lot of little things here and there that just makes it so much harder to follow. Although i blame most of on adword since its so hard to understand how it really works. Any way thanks for this. I can use some advice from experienced ppc guys. Thanks

  6. Yes, I too find PPC very difficult. I think this is a full time job or you have to spend quite some money on software to automate everything.
    Still, not an easy game for beginners!

    No doubt first 2 tips are the basics for doing PPC. Landing page optimization to improve the quality score help a lot in cutting down the cost. I am doing PPC from last 3 years and i work a lot on improving my quality score. Continuous testing pages against each other and doing proper A/B or Multivariate testing is the key.
    I am not sure about the 3rd point (LTV) as it varies from business to business.
