Article marketing is one of the simplest and most effortless ways of generating both traffic and backlinks to a site.

That’s probably why so many beginning internet marketers start out using article marketing.

And since everyone and her dog is using this traffic generation strategy, you can easily be inclined to disregard article marketing as completely outdated and totally over-saturated.

Leading to the conclusion, that article marketing no longer works.

Big mistake!
It only means is that you need to step up our game.

If you’ve ever done article marketing before, you already know that the most crucial element of your article is your author resource box – apart from the headline that is -.

Now, let’s try to boost your article marketing campaigns.
Fire up your neurons, cause I want to take you through a fast three question multiple choice test about integrating massively powerful resource boxes into them.

1. What’s the most important element you must consider when writing your resource box?

a) Your readers are too busy to read them
b) No one is interested in reading resource boxes
c) Nobody cares about you or your business.

The correct answer here is c, nobody cares about you or your business.

Although this may sound harsh, it’s very true.
The only thing other people are interested in is… WIIFM or “What’s In It For Me?” and nothing else. Therefore, you should always talk about the interests of your visitors during a conversation instead of talking about yourself.

Since your article is nothing else but a conversation, so this also applies to resource boxes.

Be assured that while reading your article, your reader doesn’t care about you at that time. The only reason she clicked your promising article headline in the first place was, she thought that in some way your valuable content might be able to improve HER life.

Do you recognize article resource boxes that kind of look like this:

“Lucky Luke manages to stay fit and for the last 5 years he helps others to do the same, and he has a website at…”

Who cares? The resource box isn’t the place to focus on your life!

While writing your resource box, you MUST put yourself in the mind of your readers. Only if you promise them something to improves their life, they may click on your bio box.

2. What should your resource box be centered around?

a) Benefits to the reader
b) Your credibility
c) The problems your readers face.

Of course the correct answer here is a: benefits to the reader.

Your readers are looking for a solution to their problems. Therefore, make it VERY clear HOW they will benefit from clicking your resource box link.

Take a look at the two following examples:

“For more dog training advice, click here.”

“Discover how to educate your dog to know and obey the words “sit” and “stay” in three days”

Based on the benefits these boxes promise, which one would YOU click on?

3. You should always _________ your resource box with your article.

a) Separate
b) Blend
c) Mix

The correct answer here is b.
Adding a resource box to your articles that blend in very well will boost your click-through rates, while a disjointed resource box will decrease CTR.

So… how did you do on this quiz?

The take away from this article should be that:
- nobody cares about you or your business,
- you should definitely focus on your reader’s benefits and
- to blend your resource box in with your article.

Very simple tips to execute, so apply them in your next article marketing campaigns and watch your resource box CTR’s skyrocket!

Affiliate marketing is a form of passive business, generating a passive income.

It’s one of the simplest ways to enter the vast community that wants to make money online.

And that’s why I’m publishing this passive business article today. Written by guest posters Lena Morrish and Dima Nikolayenko who are experts in setting up such businesses.

Therefore you should read this carefully.
Here goes.

Passive Business Affiliate Programs

When it comes to making passive income on the Internet, there are several different options out there that you can get into and make money with.

One of the biggest industries is that of affiliate marketing, as it can be easy to get into and be profitable.

For those that decide to get into the passive business of affiliate marketing, it is important that you know what exactly you are promoting and what you are going to make from it.
This will help you to decide which opportunities you want to get involved with.

Keep in mind which industries interest you or what your niche is, as you do not want to promote health items if everything else you promote is about technology.

You need to know what type of commission you will make from a product sale. These can vary widely from 8 to 75% of the value of the sale that is made.

Don’t forget that the company who makes the product is also promoting it, and that a lot of people will go directly to the manufacturer to purchase.

Another factor is to know what the pay structure is like.
Will you only make money on sales you make personally, or will you also make money on your referrals? You can promote your affiliate opportunity and sign other people up under your name.

Ideally you want to make something on their sales as well too, as they are likely going to be looking for you to help them to become successful. You deserve to be paid for your time and training that you give them.

Make sure to check out the reputation of the affiliates that you decide to become an affiliate for.
Does this program have a good reputation for a quality product and good customer service?
If it something that you can feel comfortable promoting to other people?
Do they stand behind their product if there is an issue with it?

You can find affiliate programs in many different industries, and for many different products. If the one you found does not look too genuine, move on to the next one.
You should have no issue finding something that will work out for you.

Watch for programs that do not pay a decent amount of compensation. Chances are a program that only pays out 5% is not likely worth the time it takes to determine if it is worthwhile.
It is recommended that you look for programs that payout at least 30%.

You also want to see if the program requires you to meet a minimum quota or a sales target. Depending on where you are at with your platform for promoting your affiliates, you likely will want to avoid those. Even those that are having great success may choose to pass them by as well.

When it comes to affiliate marketing, there is a great potential for passive income once you are set up.
Not only can you make money off your own personal sales, but you can earn money off those that you get to enroll in the affiliate program as well.

————
Lena Morrish and Dima Nikolayenko operate a business called Bridge to Success Co. Their goal is to help you have a successful passive income business on the Internet, so make sure to visit their site and learn best practices for building a home based affiliate business from what they have to say.
————

Case again.
Don’t forget to read “How to Find the Perfect Affiliate Marketing Programs“.

Thousands and thousands of Internet marketers are making the same mistake, over and over again.

I see it committed daily. It’s not the product that causes this problem. Oh no, most of them promote a rather good product.

And their credibility isn’t the problem neither. Most of these Internet marketers have all the validation factors needed to seal the deal on a sale.

No, their main problem is…

…that they operate in a jam-pawncked market and that they’re fenced in by thousands of other Internet marketers who offer the exact same services or the exact same products.

And not only that, they also offer them in the exact same way!

Put differently, their selling communications scream “Me Too!”

That’s not the right way to sell on the Internet. You just have to stand out in order to make sales online (as well as offline for that mattter!).
One way or another, you must separate yourself from the flocks of other marketeers who are trying to go after your clients to get money that should be yours. Looking around at what other Internet marketers are doing, and then do exactly the same thing is the precise way you won’t stand out.

In marketing there’s a saying that applies equally well online: rather than to be better, it’s better to be first. If you aren’t established as the dominate source for a product or service you’re selling on the Internet, it will be exceedingly tough for you to actually attract your buyers’ attention.

So if you want to learn anything from this article it should be this: if you’re not first in your category, create a new category to be first in.
Amelia Erhardt wasn’t the first person to fly across the Atlantic. However, she was the first woman who accomplished this.

Try to create a category that you can be first in and supply to the market segment that best lines up with that category.

Personalizing your communications is a second way to really jump out.
If I were trying to get your attention in a crowd of people for example, I would cry out your name. It’s easier to get your visitor’s attention if you go more vertical in a market. For instance, you could
target golfers on the West Coast instead of targeting golfers only.

Or instead of targeting golfers on the West Coast, you could target golfers in the state of California who earn over $100,000 a year.
This will enable you to really perfect your marketing message into this very particular group of people, and more easily capture their attention, which will in turn close more sales.

Finally, once the sales start rolling in it’s of the utmost importance to set up backend products in order to get the money really rolling. First time buyers are your best customers and the real money is made at the backend.
If you’re not familiar with that phenomena, or want to make more backend profits from your existing customers check out Backend Power.

Meanwhile let me know your opinion.

Today I give you a sale letter sample that can help you get started selling your own products.

Because you need an effective sales letter if you want to sell.

As obvious as that may sound, lots of people don’t know how to do that.

Like Dave Prentice who writes to me:

Hey Case,
I’m looking for help to get my internet business off the ground.

and then he explains what he’s up to.

I think Dave may have a good product that he wants to promote at alphawavemeditation.com. But it lacks a good sales message.

Writing a great sale letter isn’t that easy. You’ll need an expert to do this and believe me, they’re expensive because it’s a tough job.

Still, you can start out writing by using this easy sale letter sample that gets you on your way.

To write great sales letters, first thing you need is a formula and the most popular one probably is AIDA.
Which stands for

Attention,

Interest,

Desire and

Action.

The AIDA formula works and that’s why it is so popular. Therefore you should consider using it too, but there are other effective formula’s that you can find on the net. I’ll give you some great resources below.

Here are the most important parts of the AIDA formula that we’ll use in our sale letter sample.

Headline
The headline is used to grab the readers’ attention. It will determine whether your visitors begin reading your sales copy or not. Therefore you should make your headline as good as it can be.

That quite often leads to ‘hype’ headlines like “With this product you can sell pizza recipes to Italian mama’s” or “With this product you can sell fridges to Eskimo’s”.

I personally hate that kind of headlines. Instead, I use the main benefit of the product I’m selling. If you can, make a bold claim, but you always have to back that up in your sale copy!

That’s why I always start writing a sale letter sample by creating a list of benefits. You should do the same and your headline will be your biggest benefit and speaks directly to the person who you want to buy from you. Always remember that.

Most people mix up benefits and features. Features describe what product looks like (things you can touch or see), benefits are how users can profit from those features (feelings).
There’s no one who can explain this better than Paul Myers. Just read “Do You Know What You Need To Know?” and do yourself a big favor and sign up for his newsletter.

Test different headlines to increase sale conversion rates using split testing.

Subheading
The next part in this sale letter sample is a subheading, backing up the headline. The subheading should target your audience and either introduce something that compliments the headline or expand on the headline. As with the headline, it should speak directly to your potential customers.

Body sale letter
The next part you need to include is the body of the letter. This is where you need to get the reader’s interest, make them want what you’re selling (desire), and make them think to buy it (take action).

In general, you first describe the problem (that you’re product is going to solve) and then come with the solution. Follow up with a benefit laden bullet list.

It’s often a good idea to tell a story in the body of the sales letter too, for example when describing the problem. It makes readers recognize and relate to that problem and it will awake a strong desire to have that problem solved.

Closing: Call to Action
The last part of this sale letter sample is the closing.
The main objective here is to get the reader to take action and buy what you’re selling.
Actually ask them to buy what you’re selling. Usually a closing will also include soothing any fears a reader might have about buying from you, like adding a strong guarantee. This will help the reader to take action as well. The closing always includes a signature and a couple postscripts.

Well, that’s in short your easy sale letter sample that you can use when starting out.
Remember, there’s much more to writing great sales letters than just this basic information.

There are tons of resources that can help you write a great sale letter and here are a few (to avoid info overload) for you to check out:

Affiliate marketing can bring in a nice monthly income without spending a lot of money or time in your business.

The main advantage of affiliate marketing is that you don’t need to create or own a product.

All you do is promote someone else’s products or services.

Of course many people know this already, but the question I get frequently is:

“How can I find the perfect affiliate marketing program?”

Let’s see how you can do that.

The first question you have to ask yourself is: “do I need the money right away or do I want to build a solid monthly income”.

If you really need the money, then there’s no better way than to browse through the RapBank affiliate products.

That’s a directory with affiliate programs that will pay you right away, directly into your PayPal account!
At RapBank, select a product that closely relates to your site and put an occasional link to these programs in your text where appropriate.

If you’re going for the long term, then you have 4 different ways to find the perfect affiliate marketing program.

Affiliate Directories.
Here you can find the perfect affiliate marketing program, cause these directories act like review sites. They accept applications from merchants selling products using affiliate programs. These applications are reviewed and only the best are listed. Usually about half of the total applications they receive are rejected.

Or they rank all programs in order of quality.

Thus you can rest assured that the sites that are listed (or are on top of the rankings) are all sites that will make you money.
That’s a great way to select your perfect programs.

Affiliate networks.
Another excellent way to find the perfect affiliate marketing program.
They basically are the contact between merchants and you. Affiliate networks list thousands of affiliate marketing programs that you can search for and thus find the right program easily.

Sometimes there are fees included to use these sites but they often are more than worth it. Commission Junction is one of the most popular affiliate networks.

Individual sites.
Tons of sites that sell anything have an affiliate program that you can check out. Taking this route will take more time and you absolutely have to do your own research, running a chance to possibly make a mistake.

The main advantage here however is that you usually can get a much better deal. A lot of of the less popular affiliate programs typically offer the best deals.

Use software
Yes, there’s software available to solve this problem.
It’s called Affiliate Elite (affiliate link!) and that’s a killer piece of software for finding top affiliate programs (as well as finding other affiliates).
Check it out.

You can use any of these ways to find great affiliate marketing programs. You can use 1 or all 4 of them. It’s totally up to you. Just do what’s best for you and make sure you find the perfect affiliate program for you.

One last word of advice!
If you are promoting affiliate marketing programs, then why not pick the ones that pay a recurring commission? It requires the same effort to endorse recurring commission programs, but they deliver income month after month.

Check out LifeTimeCommissions to see some great recurring affiliate marketing programs.
That’s a site created by one of the best affiliate marketers around, Aussie Allan Gardyne. If you have questions about affiliate marketing programs, his website AssociatePrograms is one of the best resources to go to.

Let me know what you think.
What list builders use to create huge email lists

Today’s post is about how to build your email list fast.
That is: adding hundreds of subscribers to your list every week!

It’s a guest post, written by Gary David, an Internet marketer which specializes list building.
Here goes.
Enjoy!

——

We always hear that the “money is in the list”.
Honestly, when I started online back in 2006, I never gave importance of building my list. I only took it seriously after 2 years.

Consider this for a minute. Every subscriber on your list is worth $1 in sales a month to you. Therefore, when you have an email list of about 2,000, you are likely to earn at least $2,000 per month. If your list is about 5,000, you can expect to make about $5,000 per month. That’s when I realized to start building my list in 2008.

Now, even though I have thousands of subscribers already, I still continue building my list every single day. In fact, I have one strategy that I would like to share to you that consistently adds hundreds of subscribers to me every week.

This is how I add 100-200+ subscribers to my list every week, and guess what, the more your list grows, the more money that you can make and let me show how you can do the same.

How Do I Consistently Add 100 – 200+ Email Subscribers Every Week?

Absolutely, one of my favorite strategies is what we call email “adswaps”, you probably heard of it before, or to some of you, might doing this already.

What exactly is an email adswap?
An adswap is when two marketers come together to advertise one of their offers to each others list.

For example, if you have 300+ subscribers. you will look for a marketer who have 300+ subscribers as well, and agree to send out promotional email to each others list to gain additional subscribers for each other.

Why does this work?
The best type of promotion is when other people promote you. That builds more credibility and trust from others, and as we all know, we need credibility and gain trust from people if we want to succeed online. I am going to show you how to look for them in a minute…

Why do email adswaps work?
It is very easy to set-up, no hassle and you get responsive potential subscribers. So, if you have 700 email subscribers, you have to find a marketer with similar amount of subscribers just like you.

If you both send an email, the normal rate of subscribers you would keep from 700 people is roughly 10% conversion which is 70 subscribers, and your opt-in page converting at about 30%, in that scenario, you would add 21 subscribers from this adswap.

At this point, it may not sound like a lot yet. However, just visualize if you keep on repeating this similar method frequently, you will notice that you are building your subscribers list fast. Just make sure to look for a marketer with similar list size, don’t perform email adswaps with people who have fewer subscribers than you.

Take a look at this instance…

700 subscribers X 10% conversion = 70 visitors X 30% opt-in = 21 subscribers.

If you do this repeatedly about 2-4 times a week, you will keep 10% of another marketer’s list.
As a result, that will build to 721, followed by 742, then 764, then 786. Thus, you have just added 86 new subscribers for that week!

Consider this, when your list grows and you are hitting 1,000 or 2,000 subscribers and you are repeating this method, matching your list size with another marketer, you begin to increase your list fast.

Just to illustrate, if your list is 4,000 subscribers, 10% of that is 400 and a 30% opt-in page conversion, you will add 120 subscribers just from 1 ad swap, and if you do 2 that week with the same size, you will add 240 new subscribers, isn’t that incredible?
Now, keep in mind that those are very responsive subscribers, because it came from another respectable marketer.

My objective is to help you build your email list fast this year. I aspire to see you accomplish something and the quickest and much more long-term approach to do this is to build your email list primarily.
Keep in mind, traffic = money, no other way around it, this really is traffic you possibly can generate on demand by sending 1 email to your list.
Also, when you are driving traffic from other sources you continue to still build your list at the same time, how awesome is that?!

Everything else is simply a distraction to you.
Your email list needs to be your number 1 concern every day, and all of the things that I’m doing to build my list including article marketing, blog commenting, forum marketing, viral marketing, social bookmarking etc all leads back to my squeeze page to build my list.

I’m going to provide help to build your email list to at least 300+ subscribers this month to be able to get the standard downpact and on your way to making true success, because it does matter.

Keep in mind, it is not about how big your email list is, it’s about how responsive it is!
I’ve seen 500+ subscribers list out-perform list size of about 5,000+ and by building your email list using these techniques, it is possible to build fast, and build responsive too.
Remember, not anything works unless you truly put it to use.

Case again.
So, what’s your take? Do you build your email list?

Email marketing still works!

At least, that’s what David Smith says and I couldn’t agree more.
That’s why I decided to publish David’s guest article about building a profitable email list.
Here goes.
Enjoy!

——–

Email marketing still works!
In fact, email marketing earns an ROI of nearly $50 for every $1 spent on it. Simply put, it’s one of the most effective direct marketing methods available. And if your business isn’t using it, you need to get started now.

The first step to building a successful email marketing campaign is growing a list of subscribers.

Remember, the CAN-SPAM Act says you can only send marketing emails to people who have opted in to your email list, and you also have to tell recipients how to opt out of receiving future email from you.

Here are 8 tips that will help you build a profitable (and legal) email marketing list.

Place signup links on every page of your website.
You never know how visitors will arrive at your website. Many will come through your home page, but others will arrive on deeper pages and on your PPC landing pages.

That’s why I recommend placing a signup form on every page of your website. To get the most results, place this email signup form above the fold, and clearly label it. Give people a reason they should sign up by highlighting a benefit (e.g. “Get a 25% discount off your next purchase by subscribing to our email list”).

Harness the power of article marketing.
Article marketing still gets results. I know a lot of people view article marketing as an outdated and even spammy technique, but I disagree. You can get a lot of signups for your email list if you place links and a call to action in your author’s resource box.

Remember, let people know what’s in it for them if they signup. And don’t make the mistake of putting too many calls to action in your resource box. It’s overwhelming and distracting. Leave it at one clear call to action.

Promote samples of your newsletter.
Show your website visitors what they’re missing out on. Post samples of your newsletters on your website. This can be a useful article from a newsletter or a special deal that email subscribers got to enjoy.
By showing them rather than just telling them how useful a subscription to your email list is, you increase the chances of getting them to sign up.

Socialize your email campaign.
Email marketing and social media are beginning to become inseparable. 27% of businesses have already integrated social media into their email marketing campaign, and another 24% are in the process of creating an integration strategy. The benefit of socializing your email campaign is that it allows your email subscribers to share your content with their friends on Twitter, Facebook, etc. This helps you spread your messages farther, creating a viral effect and earning you more signups.

Give people a reason to sign up.
Sometimes, people need a little extra motivation to sign up for your email list. That’s where freebies come into play. Free eBooks, whitepapers, and trials of your product act as powerful bait for reeling in subscribers.
For example, you could say “Get a FREE copy of our new eBook ‘10 Ways to Make More Money’ when you sign up for our email list!” Everybody loves getting something for free, and if it’s a good offer, they’ll happily give you their email address.

Offer subscriber-only deals
Reward your subscribers by giving them exclusive deals not available to anyone else. Each month, you could give them a special coupon. This accomplishes two things:
1) It makes it worthwhile for people to sign up and stay on your email list and
2) It drives sales as most subscribers will want to redeem their coupons.
It’s a win-win.

Never buy an email list.
This is the biggest mistake you can make. Buying a list is a complete no-no. Not only do you run into the whole spamming issue, but the simple truth is no list that you buy will be as targeted as one that you build yourself.
People who actually sign up for a list that you’re building do so because they’re interested in receiving your messages, meaning they’re likelier to take action than someone whose email address was sold to you.

Use print signup sheets
Do you have a physical storefront?
Do you attend industry events?
If you have any sort of physical interaction with your customers, you should have print signup sheets for your email list. This is another great way to get more subscribers, and it’s an offline method that most people ignore.

Does your company use email marketing? Are you satisfied with your results?

Most successful list builders will affirm that your list is the most crucial part of your online business.

Despite the micro blogging hype, they are -still- right.

With a huge and sound list you will always be able to generate an online income.
You can lose your SE rankings, being slapped by PPC advertising systems and being hit by a lot of other tragedies.
You will still be okay as long as you have a great list.

But how do these list builders create their lists?

Well, they use many different ways that you can use too, but before we’ll go into that, let me point out the most important part that list builders use consistently.

The main key is to dedicate all your efforts to a formula that will work for you.

You should create a detailed plan to build your list and then stick to it. That’s what all great list builders do and so should you, as it will keep you focused.

However, don’t consider it written in stone. As you move forward, be prepared to change your plan and discover better ways to do things. It’s kind of split testing: you keep what works best and replace the other formula by a new one.

Giving valuable information away for free still is one of the best ways to build a huge list and that’s what successful list builders use most.

Visit your favorite forums and watch closely what members are talking about to get an idea of what would make a great free gift. What problems do people have? Then find a solution for that problem and give it away in exchange for their email address. That’s one great way to build your list.

Give away events are another way to grow your list. Mind you, give-aways always attract freebee seekers, so give away your incentive and then ask for email addresses. Thus you will get less subscribers, but those who sign up are seriously interested in your offer.

But ways to build a list is not all.

Once your list starts growing then you will need to keep your subscribers satisfied. List builders are very aware of that. That’s why, instead of concentrating all their energy on the list building aspect, they also take good care of their subscribers to prevent people from leaving.

One key ingredient here to give them value on a weekly basis, so if you create a series of valuable follow up messages they won’t even consider leaving your list. Therefore nurturing your list should be an important part of your plan too.

Implement these 3 tips that list builders always use:

Choose Your Autoresponder Wisely

An autoresponder is a software program that automatically sends automatic emails to people at any interval you tell it to. You simply write the emails, feed them into the autoresponder, and set the date to sent that message.

I’m using Aweber, because I have found them the best in delivering my messages through all the spam filters. Others are GetResponse and Email Aces. And there are some self-hosted scripts too. They all have great features, but at the time of my selection, Aweber was simply the best for me (and still is) and for most great list builders. So, take your time and choose it wisely.

Make People an Offer They Can’t Refuse

Offer your potential customers valuable information in exchange for their email address. Or you could offer them a chance to win some type of prize or a free copy of your latest software or Ebook.
For example, you could give away a free laptop every month. Just make sure you publicize who wins the prize so that more people will be encouraged to try to win it.

Concentrate on Content

You prefer to carefully craft every follow up message that you write. Make it valuable to the reader, so they can use it immediately to improve THEIR business. Include some casual selling without really blatantly trying to sell them something. People don’t like getting an email that is simply a sales pitch. Just offer a solution to a problem and the product that you use.

When you’re writing your follow up messages, treat your subscribers like friends. You prefer to start a long term relationship with them so that they don’t unsubscribe. Therefore treat your list less like potential customers and more like friends.

Follow these 3 list builders tips and you will have a large and profitable list.

Today I present a guest post about free domain names, written by Samuel Bartlett.

After a first quick read, I didn’t think much about the topic, but later I realized there may be a great source of targeted traffic inside this free domain names article.

That’s why I decided to publish it.
Here goes.
Enjoy.

Imagine the web started all over again, and you could have any free domain names that you wanted.

I mean absolutely free.

What free domain names would you register first? Google? Facebook? MSN?

The truth of the matter is that many domain names which are paid for (.com, .net, .info, .edu) are also available for free.

Sure, you will get an injunction slapped on you if you start ripping off the big players and many of the free domain names sites will close your account if you try to register a Trade Marked site (they are pretty tight on spamming as well), but the opportunities are still extraordinary for getting a name that will get hits.

Taking just one of the free domain name providers (www.freedomain.co.nr), look at some of the sites that are still available (at least until this article gets published!):
and, of course,
- www.affordable-internet-marketing.co.nr.

www.dot.tk is a similar free domain name provider which offers alternatives to your desired name if it is already taken.
For example, if you tried to register www.telephones.tk, it would tell you that the name is not available and then proceed to list 40 alternatives (www.telephonesonline.tk for example).
These sites allow you cloak a really long domain name or IP address to your new, free domain name, so irrespective of how you are hosting you web pages it will appear just as the name you want.

So, how much are these names worth? Nothing on the resale market – free domain name providers will not allow you to sell them on, but invaluable in terms of traffic that the sites generate.

How many opportunities have been missed this year for quick witted internet marketing? Here is just a sample of sites that could have, and should have, been used:

www.oscarwinners.co.nr

www.superbowl44.co.nr

www.earthquake.co.nr

www.winterolympics.co.nr

It is important that you read the ToS for each provider.
The co.nr sites all require a linkback to the domain name providers´ site, but they provide a choice of animated links via HTML code which would not look out of place on many internet marketing sites.

They also demand that your site is active over a thirty day period and that you do not promote drugs, hate, violence etc on your site.
There is quite an active forum and good customer support to get you through any questions you may have, and they have a section dedicated to other “free stuff” that will help you generate traffic to your web site.

The days of internet snobbery, where you had to have a dot.com address to be credible, are fast disappearing.
Opportunities are opening for (good) internet marketers to market their products and services without the cost of having to buy a second-rate domain name because that is “all that was left”. By taking advantage of these free domain names, and optimizing them well, they are worth a fortune in their own right.

Samuel Bartlett writes about bachelor degree online and can be reached at bartlett.samuels AT gmail.com (replace AT by @).

———

Case here again.

So, what is your opinion about free domain names?
Post your comments below.

Simple math learns that if you can increase your sale conversion rate from 1 to 2%, you will double your profits (minus expenses).

That simple equation tells us, you don’t need millions of visitors to make a nice profit.

In my previous post I talked about targeted traffic and those visitors are already looking for whatever it is you offer.
That kind of traffic is a prerequisite for higher sale conversion rates.

Starting from there, let’s see what else can we do to increase our conversion rates.

The most important factor, very simple to implement, yet so often overlooked, is making sure that there are no obvious holes or leaks where the reader prefers to leave. Which often happens in a snap.
Avoid them as the plague, as they kill your sale conversion rates! It’s as simple as that.

The headline of your offer is the blinking neon sign at the entrance of your funnel house. It pulls your visitors in and there’s no other way to exit than the buy or back buttons.

The body of your sales letter entices your visitors to read on, as do your benefit bullets, testimonials, guarantees and so on. Learning how to write great sales copy is out of the scope for this article and there are tons of resources on the Net where you can get outstanding information on the topic. Naming one is skipping thousands of excellent others, but start your quest with Michel Fortin.

The question remains however: what are the best headlines, bullets, guarantees, closings and so on? In other words: which elements of your sales pages deliver the best sale conversion rates?

The answer is: I don’t know. In fact, no-one knows. If someone would know, that person would put many copywriters out of business right away. Mind you, copywriters KNOW what works and what doesn’t, but each situation, each product, each market is different.

So you have to put your copy to the test to increase your sale conversion rates.

You can do that by by implementing A/B split tests, using a split-testing script.

What you do is create two identical sales pages and only change 1 key element in one of them and then test which one is performing best. After your test has finished, you’ll keep the one with the highest sale conversion rate and replace the other by a new one until you can’t improve the element you’ve tested.

The absolute first key element to test are your headlines. They can make or break your sale conversion rates. You want the best converting headline on top of your offer.

After this you should test your subheadings. That’s because many visitors just skim your letter instead of reading it. If it’s well crafted, your visitor will know what the letter is about just by skimming through the sub headlines.

If you get them right, concentrate on another major area of leakage: the end of the letter. You want to have a strong guarantee, an effective call to action and minimal one good PS. It is at this stage the prospective buyer needs a push in the decision process to make the purchase.

Test your bullet list of benefits too. To get the highest sale conversion rates, you may use a tad of hype, but make sure your claims are never bigger than the proof that you can back them up with.

It speaks for itself that your product must be able to keep the promises made in your sales letter. The world certainly has grown tired of scams, and a top quality copywriter won’t even take an assignment unless they have seen or read the product first, to make sure that it meets their quality standards.

There are split-testing scripts available on the Net.
I just created one too and need it tested.
If your interested in a review copy, email me at support AT affordable-internet-marketing (replace AT by @), using the subject line ‘Split test review’ and I’ll get back to you with a review copy that you can put into practice to increase your sale conversion rates.
You DO need to know how to install a PHP script and to create a MySQL database.

Meanwhile let me know what you do about increasing your sale conversion rates.
