If you know how to create article videos, submitting them to YouTube is a very fast and easy way to possibly get on the first page in Google.

Creating article videos is just a matter of converting an article into a video and that process is really pretty simple. It only takes just a few easy steps! Still, not many marketers take advantage of this excellent option, yet with YouTube marketing you can rank quite high for real competitive terms!

Of course the success of using article videos strongly depends on the keywords you are targeting. A lot of them just are too competing.
For many other phrases it might take a little while to get there. If that happens, you should start building a couple of nice links to it, just like you would any other article. In the end, this is a great way to try and get your keyword onto the first page of Google.

To create article videos, you first want to download OpenOffice. This software is completely free and contains a text editor, spreadsheet and presentation manager.
It’s a huge file, but well worth the time to install it on your computer and play with it.

First, we’re going to use OpenOffice Impress to create a presentation of an article. Here’s an outstanding tutorial that shows you how to do that.

Next, experiment with Impress a bit, until you have a professional looking template that is not too fancy. Try to keep it simple, but professional.

Create your presentation by using short sentences or paragraphs in each slide. Leave a lot of space and give the reader time to read the slides.
End with your byline containing a URL for more information. Don’t forget this, as generating traffic is the secondary goal for article videos.

Next, were going to make our article video. I use GFX Video Writer, but you can also download a free program called Jing.

Again, a huge program, but well worth the time to experiment with it. Here’s a great tutorial that shows you how to create article videos.

Once you have Jing installed and running, just play your presentation while Jing is recording. You can make it more professional by clicking the URL in your article that sends you over to your website.

Save that file. You now have a professional YouTube video that you can upload today. Make sure you use your keyword in the YouTube title and description. Be as descriptive as possible.

YouTube videos often rank on the first page of Google, so you should consider YouTube as part of your marketing strategy.

What is described above makes this possible. It just takes some time to get used to both software programs. If you’d rather use an easy to use software that converts articles into videos in just a few clicks check out Instant video articles.

So, that’s how I use article videos to get on the first page of Google.

I do agree that Youtube video marketing is picking up. Further, one can also look at integrating their adsense account with Youtube and make some more revenue with it. Of course, this is optional.

  2. I now use YouTube more frequently for posting information on my website because it is a faster way of communicating with my community. I have tried creating Article Videos too and it is great fun. I think Article Videos are also great for artist that want to integrate photos of their work along with the article. Thanks for sharing the free sites too. I loved your article.

I have done a very good experiment on Youtube. I created 150 videos with an automation tool and sent them one by one to Youtube automatically in a very competitive niche and the results where very depressing. I thought that this would bring a lot of traffic to my site, by although many of those videos appeared on the first page of Google, the traffic was very small.

Lesson learned: produce few very good videos and market them aggressively. This is bringing me better results.

Video marketing cannot and does not replace or substitute existing internet marketing strategies — strategies like affiliate marketing, article marketing or pay-per-click campaigns. However, it adds great value and can significantly leverage these existing marketing techniques.

  5. I’ve been reading a bit about marketing with YouTube videos. One thing I was considering for my site was to convert the tips (I list tips and tricks for smartphones) into speech with some kind of software.

Then just create some soft of funky graphic effect to keep people interested while they’re listening. Then put a link back to the site in the video description. It would be even better if you batch-process hundreds of text entries. What do you think of this approach?

My most high traffic sites have a Youtube video that links to them. I have found this to not only be an effective way of ranking, but the best way to get traffic to my site fast. Sometimes before it is even indexed! This is a great article because it lays out the easiest way to rank higher. The reason is because there are usually about 100 thousand times less videos for your keywords than sites.

Rightly said, The thing about Youtube is that you get instant traffic, based on your keyword. No need to wait to get your website listed in search engine and then appear on the first page. If you are well aware of the Youtube video optimisation, then your video will appear on the top results when you do a search on Youtube. Also one more point I want to add is that, the people often use Youtube search bar, not only to search videos but to search literally everything. Like the way you use Google, Bing etc. Isn’t that interesting?

This is a great quote within your article. You should offer a video version of your article as much as possible as videos offer less competition than google for keyword ranking. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge of article videos and the structure of the layout you offer….very helpful!
