Blog posting or forum posting can give you traffic but you can get benefit only if that traffic converts into your customer. and that can be done only If they come from link which is meaningful and related to the text body you have write in the post.

Targeted website traffic is definitely the name of the game. I’ve had the best luck with article marketing on web 2.0 sites and selecting just one of those articles to contain the link back to my “money pages.” Nearly every other article is then used to ramp up the page rank of that one selected article. Following this strategy (and generally using Squidoo or Ezine) for the “chosen” article is pretty effective, assuming you’re using at least a medium-tailed KW.

Great post. I agree with you that there are a lot of techniques you can use to bring a targeted traffic to your site, but it is better to master a couple techniques. They keep you busy enough already.
I also like the idea of doing keyword research before publishing a post.

I guess if you’re Sears or Target, places that everyone goes to now and then, 10,000 untargeted visitors will do you some good. But for most sites your traffic has to be targeted to make sales.

For me the best places to bring in targeted traffic are forums and articles. Since those work for I keep my focus there, like Willie says you can’t do them all so why try.

I agree with ur friend Willie. I’ve had some luck with organic SEO and have decided to stick with it. A friend of mine uses article marketing, I tried but it’s boring. So stick to what works for you and improve ur skills at it. Trageted traffic is the sky.

Yes Forums are for sure to bring targeted traffic! As they are designed to club people with targeted interests, forum postings as said by you, really helps! Article marketing can also brings back-links which is helpful technically! And yes, keyword selection is really important. I always suggest to bring out the the keywords that your customers type in to reach your products! In that way you can focus on conversions too!

Hello Case, thanks for the tips. I am that kind of IMer who prefers quality to quantity. Don’t you think quantity sounds more spammy to quality (of course, quality is never a spam)?. I would be happier to have a few hundred visitors who contribute that thousands who eat up the bytes.
