We didn’t start too well over here.
I spend the holidays with my family making some trips and staying over at several places and we had a great time.
Then, just when we were ready to return to ‘normal life’ again, on Sunday night it started to snow. Too late for the kids to profit from, cause their holidays were over. That was a pity, but it got worse, because…
…all this snow lead to slippery roads causing lots of car accidents (fortunately not mine, yet!), trains and buses not running and inconveniences like frozen water pipes (unfortunately one of mine at the east side of my house where the cold was coming from).
Temperatures are well below -17 Centigrade, at some points in the country to -23. It feels like the North Pole down here in northern Europe. Even the south can’t escape the arctic circumstances with snow in Portugal, Madrid and Southern France.
To make things even worse, there’s fog and no wind. That means the fog hangs like a blanket on the cold earth surface and integrates with the pollution. That leads to smog alarm. We’re advised to stay in and there’s a speed limit of 90 km per hour.
On top of that, I lost my Internet connection for almost a week and when I was able to connect, it was as slow as communication through smoke signals in the fog.
Jack Frost got us in his grip!
A great part of the continent disordered and that on top of the economic recession!
But, as always, there were positive things to report!
A beautiful landscape and people had lots and lots of fun skating or ice sailing.

Good suggestion and thanks for the discount links. A sales funnel is particularly important now that the economy is struggling… many companies will look to implement this rather than go down the branding route in 2009.

I’ve just been writing upon my forum about this concept of creating a funnel system to drive traffic to your main site.
Another way of doing this, is to create minisites based on a Wordpress blog, the software I use for this is excellent, just a couple of tweaks to the code and input some info into a box here and there and hey presto! A 9 page WP blog style minisite is created in about 60 seconds which is fully keyword optimised.
Google loves these sites, ranks them on page one, often in the number one position with page ranks so far up around the PR3 level.
Each minisite is keyword optimised for about 4 keywords each and they have have upon them Adsense of course, eBay (EPN), Amazon links, article marketing and links also to your affiliate products and can instantly be translated into about a dozen languages fairly accurately instantly, by simply clicking on a country flag of choice. One also has the choice to add one’s own content to each minisite. The beauty of these is, is that they literally do take less than one minute each to create when you are up to speed, and of course RSS Aggregators are already built in too to keep the content up to date for the best possible indexing.
So, what has this got to do with the funneling concept I hear you ask?
Well, on searching for current trends where the traffic is and spikes in interest on the internet across a very broad range of subjects, it is now possible to create many, many of these minisites to act as satellites at the top of my funnel. With each minisite going for 4 keywords, I can have 20 of these up in no time at all, about 20 minutes in fact.
As soon as visitors come into any of these minisites, any link they click on, earns me money and this traffic is directed through the funnel, so from many different directions, these visitors all pop out at the same place, my main website with my key product upon it. In other words funnel marketing.
I’m sorry, I would normally explain this better but I’ve been up now typing non stop for over 24 hours.
In short funnel marketing is an excellent concept and the tools for the job can be found on my forum, and yourself or anyone else is more than welcome to visit and pilfer out that information if you want to, or better yet, register and join with us, in a positive learning environment.
