3 Tips To Find A Great Ghost Writer

3 Tips To Find A Great Ghost Writer

If you have read the Internet Marketing Funnel System, you realize at some point it will be more effective to outsource parts of your work, as it is more economical.

Outsourcing the writing you have to do is often a good option. This is especially true if you aren’t a particularly strong writer. However, it can be difficult to find a good writer.

So here are 3 tips to find the perfect ghost writer.

Look for Writers on Forums
Honestly, this is where I found the best ghost writers. I even found great writers, who, in addition to writing an outstanding article, also handled the submission to hundreds of services. At bottom prices!

Many online marketers have the impression the best places to find ghost writers are the freelancing sites. While you can find a great one there, most of them are cheap writers who’s first language often is not the one you require. There are a lot of botchers. Your job on these sites is to find the good ones. Not easy.

Therefore, if you want a good ghost writer, certainly in Internet marketing, but also in many great niches, start your search on an Internet Marketing forum.

You can find many if you keep your eyes open and scan the (special writing) threads. Some are Internet Marketers who just want a little extra income and others are writers trying to find writing gigs. A lot of them are at the start of a writing business and have to establish themselves. Reason why they sometimes have great special offers.

Either way, there are a lot of talented writers on these forums and you should be able to find a few without any problem.

Get Writing Samples
Naturally finding a ghost writer on a forum is just the start. You definitely want to see some samples before actually hiring one. If you don’t see samples, just ask for them. Be sure you get at least two.

Of course you want to look for perfect grammar, spelling and punctuation. But you also want the writer’s style to fit in perfectly in with what you want to achieve. While reading the samples you have to make sure the text flows well and the overall style and voice is what you are looking for.

By the way, samples should show the writer’s ‘best’ work, so it would be foolish to hire a ghost writer if you find any mistakes in her samples.

Watch the Overall Communication
Pay close attention to all communication with your potential ghost writer. Carefully read all the emails that she sends to you. They should be without error, clear and concise. If not, their work won’t be either.

For the same reason you also want to pay attention to the writer’s forum posts to see if they are full of errors. It should raise a red flag if there are any or when a potential ghost writer isn’t able to clearly explain the topic on hand. Of course this has nothing to do with the opinion expressed. You may or may not agree with that, the important point here is that your potential ghost writer must be able to express herself very well.

Keeping a close eye for writers on Internet Marketing forums, getting samples, and paying attention to all communication are the three most important tips for finding the perfect ghost writer. Following them enables you to find one in no time.

In the past, I have found people like Eric Louviere, Beverly Clement and Tiffany Dow this way. By the way, you don’t have to check these people out. Eric now is a great sales copywriter and Beverly and Tiffany have already proven themselves to be perfect ghost writers too.

If you’re like me and rather write your own articles, then a great tool to rewrite articles is Wordflood.

If are concerned about the time it takes to write your own articles, you can try Jonathan Leger’s Instant Article Wizard. It’s an easy to use software that will help you to write quality articles fast.

So, what’s your take?
How do you find great ghost writers?

I hope I don’t get roasted for this, but I use guys from India to write articles on some of my less-important sites. I get em’ for $1.50 each. I do have to make minor grammar corrections, but it is well worth it.

I have used quality ghostwriters from writer4me.com and though they charge $9.99 per page, their work is really impressive. I have used their $99 monthly blogging service since August and that has saved a lot of my time. My blog was showing signs of neglect & irregularity when I discovered this service. Later I used them to get 2 ebooks written on Foreclosure Houses and Time Management. They are reliable and respond quickly.

They are mostly unseen. Unnoticeable. And believe it or not they are moving behind the scenes in the publishing industry. If you’re lucky you might catch a fleeting glimpse. They are officially called ‘ghostwriters’.

This is the first post that I read about ghost writer during my 10 months blogging. I didn’t do blogwalking that much did I :D

To be honest it’s very interesting. So far I’ve been writing my own post because my blog is more like personal blog. But i’ve been thinking of releasing other blog about some other topics. I think I can use your advise here for my future blog. Thx !

Ghost writer services come in more forms than many people realize. Traditionally, this service was thought of as something that is provided by a professional writer in order to create a book or novel. With the boom of the Internet, however, ghost writer services have grown into much more. Chris

Ghost writing is certainly invetible at some stage of a busy blog. When I started my blog, I had promised myself to write one well researched article/post a day. However I have managed only one a week. I have been considering ghost writers recently. The tips offered here are excellent and practical. Forums are a good place for finding most types of skills and expertise. Freelance websites offer can be helpful too but offer the same limitations discussed here across any service you are looking to outsource.

If I needed a Ghost writer, My favourite choice is to go to Digital points forum, then browese their Buy, sell, Trade Forums, & dig there for Services & then to content creation Forum, You find a hand ful of UK & USA writers, they charge a cheap of US$3 for any article write,
My Idea is to get the First article & we can rewrite the article twice & submit them to EA & Article base to get best results,
I hope that surely helps us you all,

Regards,
Krishna PR

I have tried both Getafreelancer and Digitalpoint. Both of them are quite useful forums where you can find what you desire. Wether it is a ghost writer or any niche or software you can find there.

I never needed ghost writer. But after watching this post I researched on the topic then I found that there are so many forums which are offering this service.

One thing for sure the post is informative. I found a ghost writer Marry Parker on digitalpoint. Asked her a sample which she provided. And then comes the third tip and now a days I am developing better communication to develop a better and unique content.

EDIT: I deleted the comment this one refers to. I also deleted one line in this comment that wasn’t appropriate.
Case

This is my reaction to the comment made just above my comment.
Indians and Phillipinos are not necessarily bad in English; else Indian English authors like Jhumpa Lahiri would not have received the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for literature; or Indian English authors like Arvind Adiga (2008), Kiran Desai (2006), Arundhati Roy (1997), Salman Rushdie (1981) would not have been awarded UK’s prestigious Man Booker Prize.
Rabindranath Tagore was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature. So, how can you generalize and say ‘Indians write bad English’?
You have probably gone for $1 and $2 articles/ghostwriting and anything that cheap is likely to be poor, irrespective of who wrote it.
My experience in this regard is completely different from you.

Website Copywriting by Scribizzy says:
November 14th, 2008 at 3:50 am

Hi There – Professional copywriter here. I thought I’d weigh in with the writer’s perspective. When you hire a writer with a little more experience and knowledge about the web, you’ll get a lot more value. It will cost more but will probably be worth it. For example, you can find someone with SEO experience and they’ll code your articles for you. Or, you can get a really strong article writer that visitors will read, trust, and be more likely to click into other areas on (or off) the site.

My suggestion is find a professional web writer and build a relationship, keeping in mind that they’re doing business online too.

I will prefer having our own guys to write our corporate blog, at least they understand what people wants to read at our geographical location.

Thanks for the tips. I’ve used a few ghostwriters and have only found 1 or 2 that actually did acceptable work. I personally recommend getting samples and also only ordering 1 article to start. Then you can see the quality and move forward. Aaron
