Huge Article Marketing Market - Free Guide

If you're new here, you may want to Subscribe to my Updates or to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I’ve written about article writing many times. Just click the ‘Valuable Articles/Tutorials’ link right above here to check it out. These posts are meant to get you going setting up your own article marketing campaign.

Still, many people do not grasp the sheer impact that article marketing can have in their overall Internet marketing efforts. Why?

Because they just don’t realize that each and every day, thousands and thousands of people are desperately searching for high quality information that they can use on their sites and blogs to present to their readers.
YOUR articles can very well serve as a supply to this HUGE demand for great quality content.

Your articles can be picked up by this market when you distribute them to newsletter directories, individual publishers, blog owners and anyone else looking for content.
Since, in general (unless you specify otherwise), the condition applies that the article is not altered at any rate and, above all, the original resource box is retained at the bottom, article marketing can be a great tool to generate traffic to your site.

Thus you can use article marketing to brand yourself as the expert in your niche, sell your own or affiliate products and collect email addresses so that you can start an email marketing campaign with further information and offers.
As an -important- side effect, article marketing builds one-way back links to your site.

Another, very important effect of article marketing is, that if you provide great and valuable information within your articles, everyone who clicks on your resource box to learn more, is a TARGETED visitor!
I hope you know what to do with that!

A lot of marketers are influenced by duplicate content comments, stating article marketing is not as hard-hitting as it once was. That’s great, because the more people believe article marketing does not work, the less competition there is for people like you and me.
Because… it still is effective, VERY effective indeed.

Article marketing basically is free, unless you hire ghost writers and use paid submission services. Just write your own articles and submit them to the article directories by hand.
If you get the hang of it, I suggest you use Isnare to have them distribute your articles. It’s one of the best I found on the Net.

If you’re not confident about your article writing skills, read my posts in the Valuable Articles/Tutorials. Then you can try writing one and test it. Here’s some extra help.

Thanks for the article.

I came out with a few good tips I was not aware of, so it was definitely worthwhile.

I agree, eZineArticles is the most popular.

Article marketing is definitely one of the best methods of free traffic iv ever come across. Its just a shame that so many people dont have the patience or skill to write the articles needed.

Ezinearticles is definately the best for traffic, iv found isnare to be the best for incoming links.

This reminds me of the tortoise and the hare.

The hare would be the one trying the newest, latest and greatest thing to get lots of hits immediately. One thing fizzles out, so it’s on to the next gimmick to “explode” your site with traffic. Nothing is permanent and it’s a constant battle trying to figure out what works.

The tortoise, on the other hand, slowly and steadily cranks out articles. Just one a day is fine; well-written, timely content that is produced and distributed at a steady rate.

A year later, the tortoise is enjoying lots of visitors to his site, and the hare is thinking, “Wow, I wish I was lucky like him.”

I want this article guide because I’m tired of ’spinning my wheels’. I have submitted numerous articles, but I must have done something wrong because I saw NO increase in traffic over the succeeding months.

I love to research and write, so I would like to get some benefit from submitting articles correctly.

Thank you,
Brennan

I’ve written articles on all kinds of things from health to advertising. Having worked in both industries I had something to say. But the articles were never picked up. I need to know where to place articles. But, most of all, what kind of articles are in demand?

I could not agree more that article marketing is the most powerful way to bring traffic and market your site. The other side is that having articles on your site written by others can also bring traffic. I just started an article directory where I accept articles from isnare, article marketer and visitors and it is providing some great content as well as visitors from search engines.

I also not agree with article marketing bcoz by article marketing traffic you get has very poor quality and it very low also. So i suggest don’t give much time to article marketing.

Seems like more directories are not allowing anchored links though =/

Still fair promotion, but I’m usually interested in the anchored link.

@sachin Owning a website promoting different advertising strategies doesn’t imply that this strategy is bad!

@Justin The anchor text to be used is the one in your bio. Not allowing links in the article adds more quality to it.

@Ruben Check out the directories and see what’s hot. Ezinearticles.com is a good start.

@Scott Great story!

I think this is a great post and very helpful.
Article marketing done right can be very rewarding in more than one way. It can drive traffic to your website, but it can also help you grow as a marketer and can help establish your brand. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the article. I believe the increase in traffic from article marketing comes via the use of anchored links that you use in your bio. This helps to increase the authority of you site within the search engines doesn’t it?

Although article marketing may not be the most popular method of generating traffic to a site, it can be one of the easiest.

Sachin, I think article marketing is not much about getting traffic good or otherwise. It is about getting a good back link.

I believe article marketing and article promotions through article directories, blogs etc allow Internet and Affiliate marketers the ability to make a good income and drive more traffic to their websites and blogs than through any other means of marketing.

Article Marketing is at least for me where my profit comes from.
