Links To Interesting Posts
I’ve never done this before, but I’ve been reading a lot this week and came up with a few very interesting posts that I want to share with you.

- Whenever I finish up a new post, I’m always in doubt how to end it. Should I make that call to action or write a great wrap up? And which call to action is the best to get the most comments?
James Chartrand gives some great advice at One Simple Way to Generate More Comments on Your Blog - Michel Fortin is a a big fan of “reasons why” advertising.
I always try to add as many reasons as possible why the offer is made, why the author is making it, and why it’s important to the reader.
Therefore, Michel explains why your reader wants to know these 5 things.
- When I started using Aweber for sending out my posts to subscribers, I quickly changed the frequency from one to three. Otherwise, everyone would receive one email a day if I posted daily. Thought that was a bit too much.
Andy Beard has similar issues and encouraged Aweber to handle things more flexible. I think he succeeded, at least partly, because Andy reports some interesting facts about Aweber RSS To Email Scheduling And Feed Counts - Since a couple of days I’m trying to focus more on using Twitter. I was reluctant to use this resource, because to me it seems more of a one-way communication, which by default isn’t communication at all. It also causes lots of distractions that I do not wish, because I want to focus on what I’m doing.
Fortunately, Maki came to rescue with his 17 Ways You Can Use Twitter. Don’t forget to read Remember The Milk!
- Sometimes my Wordpress blog has some hick-ups. After quick research there are problems like a duplicate key in one table or the famous log-in block caused by the Bad Behavior plugin.
First thoughts when something like that happens is: “I’ve been hacked!” Although that never happened, you’d better take precautions and Matt Cutts gives them at Three tips to protect your WordPress installation. - Finally I want to point you to Dear AdSense, You Broke My Heart, an open letter sent to Google by Darren Rowse as a result of Google’s decision to end the Adsense affiliate program outside the US, Canada and Japan (more info at Adsense Slaps Foreign Webmasters in the Face and Google Adsense Referral Hydra Had To Be Clobbered).

Hey, thanks for the linkout. You chose some great posts to feature mine with – nice round up!
You’re welcome James. Well deserved.
I notices that you use blog rush which seems like a nice way to share posts. I have been using many of my posts as articles and submitting with artemis pro to create hundreds of unique versions and build back links. So far it has been working well. I will sign on to your list. Thanks
Sounds like a great strategy Sarah. Do you mind sharing the URL you do this for?
This was a helpful blog. You made a lot of interesting statements, that I can relate to. Such as your statement about how to end your post. It can be hard to find that perfect wrap up. I came across the Glyphius software, it scores your ad copy against the built-in database. It is simple to use. You basically just copy a word, a sentence or any copy that you are trying to promote into the Glyphius edit box. You hit the score button and it is scored against other successful words, phrases or other text in the internal database. This ensures you will only use the best scoring words. It has helped me tremendously. I will definitely be back to your blogs Case, I am learning some great things here. Keep up the good work.
Glad it was of help to you Jessie.
I’ve heard some good reviews about Glyphius, but never used it myself.
Keep us posted about your results.
