Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) - New Search Engine Algorithm

If you're new here, you may want to Subscribe to my Updates or to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Do you want to rank high in the search engines and generate tons of traffic to your websites?

I thought so …

Do this:

Go to Google and type in food.
Watch carefull what shows up.

Now, type in ~food and enter (just put a tilde in front of the keyword).
See what shows up now!

Quite different, isn’t it?

The phenomena that causes this effect is called Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI).

And it’s used more and more by search engines to determine what a website is all about and to calculate a website’s relevance
This technique does not only look at your main keyword, but also searches for other words that are closely related to it. Then they compare this data with all the other words they have in their index.

It’s a very complex algorithm, so we won’t look into that.

But you need to know about this and use it when creating new pages.

You can use the ‘Keyword Universe’-feature in Wordtracker to find related keywords.
Another resource that I use frequently is Lexical FreeNet.
There also are some interesting videos you can watch to learn about this new algorithm.

You see, Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins have some very successful websites and I mean …

REALLY successful!

How about a site that does 16,000 dollars a DAY?

And they have several of them!

Among other things, they used LSI to get to the top of the search engine pages and drive millions of visitors to their websites.

Before you get too envy, just watch their videos, because in it they will explain what LSI is and how to practice this.

Use this new algorithm wisely!

Case Stevens
